Standing over two feet tall, these Balinese winged lion statues, known as Singa Barong or Singa Bersayap, are powerful mythical creatures with fierce, expressive faces, wings, and often a snarling. Cast in cement, these figures symbolize protection, repelling demonic forces and ensuring the well-being of humans. They are frequently placed at temple or home entrances, or as roof-top finials, to guard against evil spirits

These pieces were originally designed to support columns on a house but are well suited for decoration or garden. Come with separate column bases and can be detached. Minor chipping just adds to the character. One lion broke his wings but they have been repaired and again, it adds to the character and gives it an aged quality.
