The Yagua people are an indigenous tribe in the Amazon basin along the Colombian & Peruvian border. This girl lived with her tribe in the Loreto province of northern Peru and is carrying a Brown-Throated Three-Toed Sloth (apparently named “Sandra”) I was drawn to the powerful expression of the Amazonian girl combined with the seemingly carefree expression of the sloth. Both had elegant lines - down to the way she holds her little finger.
If local to Los Angeles, I recommend pick-up as it limits the risk of damage or loss. If you require shipping, I will reach out to you directly to establish the specifics such as method, insurance, fees, etc… There will be a step at checkout where you can enter your contact information.
Shipping original artwork will result in an additional & separate shipping fee based on the requested shipping specifics. For pieces over $1,000 in total costs, $100 of this fee will be covered in the cost of the art itself. For pieces below $1,000 in total costs, $50 will be used to cover shipping fees. Additional costs will need to be paid in full prior to shipping.
All original artwork is packed in a protective casing. Larger pieces, or for international shipping artwork is supplemented with foam padding, and an art box.
